Working comparison page for the experimental satellite card
(config/satmap.txt) against the shipped two-card setup. Both are
desk-replay sessions of the same three CMP laps.
Top-left: the circuit map and AHEAD cards replaced by one card — aerial photo, north-up, true geometry (no lateral exaggeration), with the reference line, trail, ghost ring, B ticks and all three apex markers on the real road.
The shipped layout: circuit map for orientation, AHEAD panel unrolling the road into a ribbon at 3× width with the drawn corridor.
Glanceability at speed: does the painted line read against photography the way it reads against black? Secondary: does losing the whole-circuit map matter, and is 130 m the right window.
