Apps

Methanol injection controller

A simple boost-referenced PWM pump controller for the F56. It reads boost from the DME over the OBD port, sprays on a curve, watches pump current and runs the shift light. A round touch screen and an Android app set it up. On the bench now.

Apps

F5X Code

Fault codes in plain English, engine and gearbox logging, and module coding for the third-generation MINI, from an Android phone and an ENET cable or the red MHD adapter. Engine fault codes are free; everything else is $45 once.

Apps

PumpWitness

Jackie's first app: log a fill-up from three photos at the pump, get honest MPG for every car, and find out which station's gas keeps running bad.

Electronics

The R53 K-line + CAN bridge — one board that reads the ECU, watches the bus and runs the shift light

The shift light grew a second job, then a third. One board now reads the ECU at 62500, watches the CAN bus, reads the chassis modules and runs the shift light — merging the lot into a single 8.5 Hz stream to the phone. Here is the whole thing: transceiver choice, OBD2 pin colours, the two parts that destroy something if you fit them backwards, every wire drawn in colour, and the PCB it all became.

TrackEncoder — my glovebox phone records my track video, coaches me live, calls my brake points, and draws the racing line

A $150 Android phone that burns a live coaching overlay into track video, with sound, runs from my pocket over Telegram, calls brake points into my helmet by the circuit's own turn numbers, paints my best lap on the road like a racing game, and hands the session to an LLM that names the three things worth the most time. One post, the whole system, and now every card on the screen explained one at a time: what it tells me in plain English, then the maths underneath it.

R53 Logger - Flasher

Flash MINI's own Stage 1 from your phone, add the options you want on top, then log the car and see where the tune misses on 3D and cell maps. JCW and GP1 are the Stage 1 flash, the early JCW kit is a Stage 0 for a pulley on stock injectors, and it's on Google Play.

R53 Coding - Module Coding from Your Phone

NCS Expert, minus the laptop. Seven R53 modules coded from an Android phone, every setting in plain English, and a backup before anything changes. Reading is free, writing is a one-time $30 unlock. Now on Google Play.
